2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST AND DISPENSATIONS
2.1. To receive declarations of interest from Councillors on items on the agenda (Members are reminded that they are required to leave the room during the discussion and voting on matters in which they have a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest, whether or not the Interest is entered in the Register of Members’ Interests maintained by the Monitoring Officer.)
2.2. To grant any requests for dispensation as appropriate
3. MINUTES OF COUNCIL - To approve the Minutes of the Finance & General Purposes Committee Meeting held on 23rd Oct 2025 (attached)
4. PUBLIC QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS – 15 minutes will be allowed
5. ACTUARIAL VALUATION – SHROPSHIRE COUNTY PENSION FUND – To review the preliminary results of the valuation which sets employer contribution rates at 22.7% for the three years from April 2026 and recommend approval by full council. (Valuation summary attached)
6. BANK ACCOUNT CHARGES – To note that Unity Bank is proposing to increase its fees and charges from 1 February 2026 – (Details attached)
7. BUDGET REVIEW – To consider the draft budget for 2026-27, make any amendments and recommendations for consideration by full council in January 2026. (Budget report to follow)
8. PRECEPT – To make a provisional recommendation to full council on a suitable Precept
